Professional recording of the live, interview-style conversation with Ben Youngs, one of England's most experienced international rugby players.
At the heart of the Thrive4Life Men’s Health Matters campaign is a flagship live event featuring Ben Youngs at the Lloyd’s Building in the City of London on 11th June - this is the webinar recording for that in-person event. The streaming of Ben Youngs recorded interview takes place a week after the live event, on 18th June.
This event will take the form of a live interview-style conversation, guided by Nigel Sparshott, whose senior leadership background and lived experience of heart disease and type II diabetes bring added depth and relevance for a City audience.
Dr Philip Batty, Consultant in Sports & Exercise Medicine at Cleveland Clinic London, will provide light-touch clinical context on heart health, early warning signs and when to seek help — helping ground the conversation in practical health insight.
As England’s most capped men’s rugby player, Ben brings profile, credibility and personal insight to a campaign focused on earlier action and better health awareness.
Rather than a traditional keynote speech, the session focuses on Ben's personal story: resilience, leadership, performance under pressure, personal health challenges and the importance of early action. This authentic format brings men's health messages to life in a way that is relatable, engaging and impactful. Ben shares a personal and practical conversation on resilience, pressure, health awareness, and why early action matters. Ben's story supports the core message around health, pressure and early action, and his autobiography Beyond the Line: My Life in Rugby deepens that narrative with themes of loyalty, family, performance and humanity that resonate powerfully with a professional audience.
Webinar duration: About 30 minutes, plus time for questions and answers.
